Tissot has issued a series of must-have accessories, which soon, on the 7th October, will be shown in Las Vegas, Nevada, during a 20 minutes’ show. The main star of this show will be the Indy Racing League driver and Tissot ambassador Danica Patrick. The star of the must-have accessories for this fall is the new Tissot PRC 100 Diamonds watch on the wrist of the female race driver. Along with this watch Danica will fashion the T-Touch Danica Patrick Limited Edition Watch and a T-Wave with diamonds.

The most distinctive feature of the new watch is its dodecagon (12-sided polygon) polished bezel, embellished with 60 purest diamonds. The red dial also features a series of timing functions, such as the three chrono sub dials and a big date display at 4o’clock. All these functions are protected by the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and the stainless steel case. The watch is powered by the Swiss quartz movement and features also a red leather strap with a deployment buckle.

Just as TAG Heuer or Omega enjoys the wins and high accomplishments of their ambassadors in sports so does Tissot too. The Brand Manager of Tissot Olivier Cosandier said that he was thrilled to have Danica Patrick as one of the Tissot ambassadors. She embodies the sport watches line from Tissot and these watches in some way were inspired from her, as she adds style and elegance to these watches. He also added that the stuff of the Company follows every Danica’s race and they are happy for her top ten positions in the League.

Recently “History in Time” exhibition took place in Moscow, Russia. They celebrated 200 years of Kremlin existence and 160 years from the day Ulysse Nardin Watch Company was founded - probably the most titled watch manufacture in the world.

Founded in 1846 by a watch maker Ulysse Nardin to produce sea chronometers, the company has made a great contribution in watch business development. The company has more than 4300 awards and prizes; it got 18 gold medals on different international exhibitions.

The watches of the company were recognized as the most complicated watches in the world for two times and were registered in the The Guinness Book of World Records. Four times the company got Chrono Prize for innovations. They brought to Moscow 116 unusual and rare watches from the company’s collection.

On 20th September in New York took place another Antiquorum auction for rare wrist and pocket watches and other watch related articles. Bidders all over the world have gathered either live, per phone or via Internet to bid for their favorite timepieces. Among the brands to be sold there were Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Rolex, FP Journe and IWC.

Surprisingly the bidders were from every corner of the world: Italy, Ukraine, Taiwan, Canada, France and other countries. The auction has provided the bidders 365 lots, among which the finest and rarest timepieces of the most well-known brands, mentioned earlier. Almost 85% of all watches have been sold at a value of over 107%. The overall sum gathered from the sold lots was almost 6445000$.
