Jaeger-LeCoultre Initiates New Extension Program

The Jaeger-LeCoultre Company, one of the major economic players in the Vallee de Joux, has announced it is going to further extend in its history. The Manufacture site, currently covering over 16,000 square meters, will be enlarged by 9000 square meters by 2010.

The Jaeger-LeCoultre Watch Manufacture located within a unique natural setting between lake and forests on Le Sentier’s outskirts, is maintaining its historical roots, having decided to continue its development within its historical cradle. The brand is going to erect a new building to be linked to the original site by smartly designed architectural elements. The brand’s fast growth has suggested the necessity of the extension project that is just a part of the long-range program.

Throughout its history, Jaeger-LeCoultre has greatly contributed to the economic growth of the Vallee de Joux, famous for its unspoilt scenery, located near the Joux Lake, right in the heart of the Swiss Jura mountains.

Hublot has recently created a unique collaborative limited edition Big Bang as a part of its support provided for the Ayrton Senna Institute. The exclusive timepiece features the signature of the deceased champion. The latest Big Bang is to be presented at the Sao Paulo Formula 1 Grand Prix, the most appropriate occasion one may think of.

Hublot Big Bang is a real legend in the horology world.  On October 18, the company introduced to the public its remarkable Chronograph Split-Second. The timepiece equipped with Power Reserve indicator, is cloaked in black. The dial of the watch reveals Ayrton Senna’s signature in eye-catching red and the Brazilan flag in the combination of green and yellow.
